What will Anita sing in rock music in Rio? “There were days and days of consultations with Portuguese friends”

Singer Anitta, who steps up on Mundo’s stage from the ninth edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa on Sunday, 26, admitted that it was difficult to choose songs for the show and even said she asked for help from Portuguese friends. The Brazilian artist will sing for about an hour, after Jason Derulo and before rapper Post Malone.

“Whew… well. I think I got an acceptable result. Mission impossible to assemble the rock repertoire at Rio Lisbon show, folks. One hour of the show since I haven’t been to Portugal in a while… because I’ve been trying to close that equation for weeks” , Anitta wrote, in Twitter social network.

As the singer says on Twitter, “It wouldn’t be possible to sing all the songs I loved in ‘just one hour’. I wanted two hours of the show to sing everything.”

“You will lose one or the other,” he writes, adding that he will “make as much as possible.”

Anita also admitted that she asked Portuguese friends what they thought of the songs and that she tried to remember the songs she sang in Portugal.

The artist performs at Mundo Palco do Rock in Rio Lisboa on Sunday, June 26 from 9:00 PM to 10:15 PM. In front of her, HMB and Jason Derulo took the podium. This is the second time that Anita has performed in rock music in Rio Lisboa. In 2018, he had already taken Brazilian funk to “Cidade do Rock”.

The artist returns to Portugal on July 17 to perform at Meo Marés Vivas in Vila Nova de Gaia.
