Until then, to use WhatsApp Pay, users had to access chat actions and only then could they send a payment through the app. From now on, if the functions under test now reach the stable version, there will be a dedicated shortcut for that.
It is worth noting that WhatsApp Pay is built on the basis of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) platform. This is the same rule used, for example, by Google with its Google Pay system. It is particularly safe and easy to use.
For those interested in the beta version of this instant communication platform, there is another beta version available now. More specifically, version 2.21.17.20 for Android mobile devices.
Finally, it is worth noting that even in Brazil, WhatsApp Pay is a beta program. Thus, it is in its initial stage of testing and feedback in order to ascertain the rate of its use, as well as the opinions of users.
On the other hand, in India it is already a more popular payment platform, competing with other well-established options like the Google Pay example mentioned above. Unfortunately, there are no expectations for its availability in Europe.
