At the end of the first quarter of 2024, the number of service package subscribers reached 4.7 million subscribers (+105 thousand or +2.3% compared to the same quarter of the previous year). Growth is associated exclusively with 4/5P offerings (+155K or +6.3%). MEO, NOS and Vodafone, which group has the highest share of subscribers?

4/5P offers were the most widely used, with the number of subscribers reaching 2.6 million (56.4% of the total package offer subscribers), followed by 3P offers with 1.6 million subscribers (35.0%).  3P offers saw the largest annual decline since 2015 (-2.9%).
The residential sector represents 86.9% of subscribers to bundled offers, and the majority of these offers were 4/5P packages (58.8%).  The non-residential sector, which represents 13.1% of the total, recorded a much higher weight of 2P offers (23.4%) than its counterpart in the residential sector (6.3%).
At the end of the first quarter of 2024, approximately 85.3% of fixed line access was sold as a package, differentiated by service: 83.1% in fixed line (STF) access, 96.4% in SAI access At a fixed location price and 98.0% access to subscription TVS.  In the area of ​​mobile access, package offers were lower: 35.0%.
Limiting the analysis to the residential sector, single-player offers represent 1.0% of total SAI residential accesses and 2.9% of total STF residential accesses.
Between January and March 2024, combined services revenues (values ​​excluding VAT) amounted to approximately €540 million (53.4% ​​of total retail revenues), having increased by 9.0% compared to the same period of the previous year.  For three consecutive quarters, annual growth of about 9% has been recorded, which has not happened since 2016. Revenues from 4/5P offers represent 68.5% of total bundle revenues or 36.6% of total retail revenues.  The residential sector represents 86.6% of the services group’s revenues.

The average monthly revenue per package subscriber (€38.51) also recorded the highest annual growth since 2016 (+6.4% compared to the same period last year).  The average monthly revenue was €47.16 in the case of 4/5P offers (+5.3%) and €29.68 in the case of 3P offers (+4.9%).
MEO was the provider with the highest share of bundled service subscribers
At the end of Q1 2024, MEO was the provider with the highest share of subscribers to bundled services (41.6%), followed by Grupo NOS (35.1%), Vodafone (20.5%), and NOWO (2.7%).
Compared to the same quarter last year, MEO and Vodafone's subscriber shares increased (+0.4 percentage points and +0.2 percentage points, respectively), while Grupo NOS (-0.4 basis points) and NOWO shares decreased (-0.2 basis points).  In terms of net worth, NOWO was the only company among the above-mentioned providers to reduce the number of subscribers to the package.

MEO had the highest share of subscribers across all offer types: 2P (48.3%), 3P (39.4%) and 4/5P (42.0%);  In the two categories: residential (40.0%) and non-residential (52.1%).
On the other hand, MEO also recorded the highest share of revenue from bundled services (40.3%), followed by Grupo NOS (39.6%), Vodafone (18.5%) and NOWO (1.5%).
In terms of offer type and customer segment, Grupo NOS emerged with the highest share of revenues from package offers in the residential sector (41.5%) and in 4/5P offers (44.8%). On the other hand, MEO had the highest share of revenues from bundled offers in the sector. Non-residential (49.2%) and in 2P (43.3%) and 3P (43.2%) offers.
