Microsoft is working on the next major update for its operating system, Windows 11, which is expected to be announced early next week.

Recent leaks of information have now revealed what the new design adopted by the Redmond giant will be like for the successor to Windows 10.

Design inherited from Windows 10x

The screenshots show the new user interface that will be adopted in a file Update Code name sun, valley Which seems to have inherited many elements from Windows 10X.

The images were shared on Baidu a few hours ago and they reinforce what has already been confirmed in rumors about changes to the platform’s design:

The taskbar is now centered and the Start menu appears as a floating window in the center of the desktop.

You are live tiles It appears to have been replaced by static icons and the Windows logo is in a slightly different format than the trapezoid used in Windows 10X.

The second screenshot shows that with regard to the design of the windows, a little has to change:

The items are on the left with simplified monochrome icons and the version shown in the screenshot is Windows 11 Pro, indicating that Microsoft should maintain the well-known distinction between versions.

The Settings window appears to have been reused from Windows 10, which indicates that many system elements will continue with the same design.

When will Windows 11 be released?

Microsoft announces Windows 11 On June 24 at 4:00 pm مساء (Lisbon time). This will be the biggest OS update of the decade, so it has attracted a lot of interest from fans.

We still have to know all the features that will come with the new platform, and fortunately, more leaks should reveal such details in the coming days.
