During TwitterWrestleVotes wrote that they asked a source within WWE why the announcement was made about Cody Rhodes’ return.
In response, they were told that everyone already knew this comeback was going to happen and that WWE officials were very happy with the other surprises that were lined up for the big event.
A source was asked why it was announced that Cody’s Rumble would return instead of a surprise…
It’s twofold, the source said, one that almost everyone already expected this to happen and the second, the source says they’re “more than happy” with the other surprises that are lined up.
