Nowadays, it is common to bet on many sports and even on other types of events that take place all over the world.
According to CNBC journalist Alex Sherman, WWE wants to legalize match betting at its events.
WWE officials are working with auditing firm Ernst & Young to ensure that it is impossible for her to exist spoilers results, so that bets can be legitimate.
Ernst & Young and PwC are already working with the Academy Awards, and with those in charge of the Emmys, to make sure you can bet on the winners of these awards.
WWE will use the example of the Academy Awards as a way to prove that betting on matches is just as safe.
There are indeed sites that allow you to bet on WWE matches, but most US states consider such bets illegal.
It remains to be seen if WWE will be able to legalize these bets, and none of the parties involved have commented on the process.
