Workers in the Australian state of New South Wales are threatening to quit after what they say are poor working conditions.

The accusations relate to the poor safety of the workers, as well as the fact that they receive very poor food, including maggots, and this was reported by 7 News, among others.

The Australian Workers’ Union, the Australian trade union, has released images of a piece of meat with maggot said to have been served at the workplace.

The Minister of State for the Australian Labor Confederation, Tony Callinan, said this week that the caterpillar incident was indicative of a broader management problem in the workplace.

The union has published a number of photos of meals that employees are said to have served at the workplace. In addition to the larvae in the food, many photos will show less enticing meals.

Callinan compared the meals to prison food and said that “even inmates in maximum security prisons get better food”.

– The secretary said there are workers living literally locked in a workplace with poor facilities in the middle of nowhere and being fed food full of maggots, according to The Guardian.

Callinan claims that the problem is due to management trying to save as much money as possible in order to generate as much profit as possible themselves.

The union is also said to have received a number of reports of serious safety issues at the site.

The Society’s secretary claims it is only a matter of time before tragedy strikes.
