Mercedes-Benz has produced the more powerful diamond-cut special edition G-Class 500 V8 which is limited to just 300 numbered units, with the only two cars to arrive in Portugal being delivered by Sociedade Comercial C. Santos.

The G 500 V8 Stronger Than Diamonds is a limited edition of 300 numbered units. The painting for this special edition is exclusive and features very exclusive details that refer to the theme of this special edition. Among the exterior details, in addition to the color, are the special edition door handles with a diamond-engraved handle button.

Inside, highlights include the upholstery with pink stitching, special floor mats with the AMG logo, the front passenger's dashboard handle with a “tougher than a diamond” attachment, or the four interior door rivets set with real stones. Diamonds (0.25 carat per pin).

In precious metals, another interesting detail is the fact that the key contains a real silver coin encrusted with diamonds.

As for the engine, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class 500 V8 is more powerful than diamond. It has a 4.0-liter V8 gasoline engine with a power of 421 horsepower (610 Nm of torque). This twin-turbo engine is capable of propelling the SUV from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 210 km/h.

The price of this special edition, studded with diamonds, is about 288 thousand euros.

The model will receive many changes soon. In addition to improvements to the combustion engines and other mechanical innovations, improved aerodynamics will debut, a requirement that also arises from the fact that the model now has a 100% electric version, which is the big news in this redesign.
