DrDuring Camilla's official visit to Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, it was not the Queen who stood out the most. The center of attention turned out to be a child, around two years old, who was dressed to welcome royalty.
When the Queen stopped by Knott's Bakery, among other stores, on Thursday, she found little Fitz Corey Salmon.
The boy, who will be two years old in a month, wore a tuxedo to impress Camilla, and it worked.
Fitz smiled as the Queen entered the establishment owned by the boy's father, William Corey, and Camilla interacted with the child.
Speaking to Sky News, the parents confirmed Camilla had left the boy “relaxed”. They say it's a day the family will remember forever.
Regarding the health of King Charles III, Camilla explained that her husband is receiving treatment for cancer, and that he is “disappointed” at not being able to visit Northern Ireland.
