Benfica and Braga will compete, on Wednesday, in the Women’s Football League Cup final. The match will take place at Marcolino Castro Stadium in Santa Maria da Vera, at 7:30 pm.
It is a replay of the first final match of the competition (2019/20), which the Eagles won 3-0. Their dominance of the competition was confirmed last season (2020/21), with a new trophy for the Luz Museum: a 2-1 victory over Sporting.
The match will be officiated by Philippa Cuna (AF Viana do Castelo), which will feature Andrea Souza and Rafaella Almeida as assistants and Thelma Fradi as fourth official. Catarina Campos handles the VAR jobs and Bruno Esteves handles the AVAR jobs.
