China bets on PC gaming graphics cards with MTT S80

According to the information, the Chinese GPU features a graphics chip called Chunxiao and its 4,096 cores are designated as MUSA.  As for the memory, it will be 16GB of GDDR6.

The graphics frequency is 1.8GHz, providing a capacity of 14.4 TFLOPs in the FP32.  Comparatively speaking, we can talk about a chip with a performance somewhere between the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and the RTX 3060 Ti.
MTT S80 graphics will work on Windows, being compatible with some important features, such as DirectX.

This is the first gaming graphics card with a PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 interface with a bi-directional data transfer capacity of 128 GB/s.  It comes with 3 ports DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1, and supports 1080p 360Hz refresh rate and even 8K graphics.

As per the details, this GPU will be available today 11th November but at the time of writing this article its price has not been revealed yet.  This graphics unit joins its predecessor MTT S60, which was launched in March of this year.
