Do you own an iPhone? The new iOS 18 will allow you to record and transcribe calls

Published on

Hey Apple's new operating system, iOS 18, will allow phone calls to be recorded and transcribed. This was announced by the tech giant last Monday, during its annual developer conference (WWDC).

However, due to privacy policies, all participants in the phone call will be notified that the conversation will be recorded.

According to the images published by Apple, there will be an option in the phone application, with a sound wave and recording time. You'll then be able to transcribe the call in the Notes app and the new Apple Intelligence AI system will be able to summarize the conversation.

Audio transcription will only be available in English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, and Portuguese.
