Rita Blanco, Julia Pinheiro, Manuel Serao and Roy Zinke have reunited for the comeback of “Noite da Má Lingua” 25 years after the last show aired. Now in podcast format, the encounter delights old viewers and attracts new audiences.
Nuno Markle has been indifferent to this comeback and has used social media to let go of his public praise.
When there’s a so-called ‘reunion’ of, go, theatrical cast or long-dissolved bands, there’s always a certain bitter aftertaste of ‘Okay, it was nice, but it’s not the same anymore. “And what I found great about the Night of Evil’s Tongue podcast is that the magic is still intact.”
He continued, “After 25 years, time has just passed on these dear ones in the perfect dose to make them better: attacking modern society and things that didn’t exist when A Noite da Má Língua ended, for example. I loved listening to the first one. And I love that it’s a podcast Audio: I’ve always thought that even on TV, A Noite da Má Língua was, in essence, a great radio show. Again with sides on TV, but, for now, it’s necessary to subscribe and listen to these national treasures.”
Before finishing, he left a suggestion: “Now all that remains is MEC [Miguel Esteves Cardoso] They appear there, even if only occasionally.”
