Ricardo Araujo Pereira’s program in Braga was without electricity

There was a moment of interaction between Ricardo Araujo Pereira on the program Isto é Gozar com Quem Trabalho, from SIC, when the lighting suddenly went out.

The program, which was broadcast from the Altice Forum Braga, was accompanied, on site, by an audience of 8,000 people, as the famous comedian said after about a minute that it took the technical problem to be resolved.

Rapp, who is returning for a new season of the popular humorous show, which tracks the country’s weekly news, took the opportunity to go on air to make the call to the capital, Minho, “playing” with the fact of it, as it seemed. He was greeted at restaurants with suggestions for the traditional Abade de Priscos pudding.

“I was the victim of an attempted murder by forcibly eating the pudding Abad de Prisco,” he said hilariously. He added, “At lunch, at dinner… in a stationery shop.”

There, he also alludes to “Braga, the City of 3 Ps”: “Braga is the city of 3 Ps: priests, sweets, and cholesterol problems.”

At the end of the programme, in a version altered to humorous lyrics, fado singer Gisela João, from Barcelos, took the stage to sing “Uma casa Portuguesa”.

Isto é Gozar com quem Trabalhador is broadcast weekly, on Sundays, after the evening news on SIC.

The comedian and the team stayed at the Vila Galé Collection, in the old building of the Hospital de São Marcos, in the city centre.
