TCL’s commitment to 5G and affordable equipment availability, with enhanced features and functionality, is the basis of the new announcement the Chinese brand is making today at MWC22, to expand its TCL 30 series smartphone range, which Announced at CES 2022.

There are five new models, TCL 30 5G, TCL 30+, TCL 30, TCL 30 SE and TCL 30, to expand the offer in different classes, with prices and features adapted to different needs and budgets, prices starting at 189 euros, but not exceeding 350 euros , even in the most “artillery” models. The TCL 30 Series lineup is complemented by two models launched exclusively in the US, the TCL 30 XE 5G and the TCL 30 V 5G.

In a pre-announced announcement that SAPO TEK was able to access this week, Stefan Street, global marketing director at TCL, explained that the company is betting on launching some models exclusive to operators in the United States, and that it may extend this model to other regions, including Europe. “It’s a strategy that works in the US, where we’re number four in sales,” he says.

The family’s similarity across the series is one thing that stands out, with a 50MP camera found on all models, even the cheapest ones. But Stefan Streit also highlights the design and screens with NXTVISION technology, two areas where TCL has specialized in ensuring quality finishes and materials that aren’t usually available in this price range on smartphones.

All models are equipped with a large capacity battery of 5000 mAh with support for fast charging, TCL 30 5G, TCL 30+ and TCL 30 share an ultra-thin design of 7.74 mm and a weight of 184 grams.

Despite sticking to 5G, not all models in the new range actually support 5G mobile technology, with the TCL 30 SE and TCL 30 E only using 4G.
