The decrease of 0.0712 euros in electric vehicle charging subsidies is accompanied by a 12% reduction in electric mobility tariff prices for the next year, compared to 2022, approved by the Energy Services Regulatory Entity (ERSE).
“For 2023, the tariff rates applicable to suppliers of electricity for electric mobility (CEME), charging point operators (OPC) and charge point holders (DPC) will be reduced by about 12% compared to the tariff applied in 2022,” the regulator said in a note issued in the middle of this month. .
According to ERSE, the 12% reductions in Electric Mobility Network Management Entity (EGME) tariffs represent an “additional impact of -0.11 € per 100 kilometres” (kilometers) as an example.
According to data released by ERSE, in 2021 the electric mobility network enabled more than 1.38 million shipments to be carried out, at a total of 4,959 charging points.
Projections for 2023 show that the electric mobility network will reach 3.67 million additional charges, an increase of 57% compared to the estimate of 2.34 million additional charges for the year.
