There is scope for coronary procedures to be eased gradually, says FHI President Frode Forland, who says they may cause more stress than the disease itself.

“So, we’re constantly writing this and evaluating it for the government to get things right,” Director Frode Forland at the National Institute of Public Health tells SELF. VG.
Norway has set a number of infection records in recent weeks, at the same time the number of admissions has decreased somewhat and has remained at a generally stable level.
Recently, many measures have been relaxed, including quarantine requirements and a ban on drinking. Forland believes the infection situation in Norway is now under control, so there may be room for more relief.
Measures will continue to be relaxed if all goes well and appears to be going well, says Forland, who says the measures may place a greater burden than Covid itself does.
The procedures still impose a heavy burden on society, the economy, and the individual. Not least for children and young adults who are far from school and activities, we’re seeing an increase in the referral rate for child and adolescent psychiatry, he said.
