There is a high chance of conviction, Comey tells Newsmax The Independent.
He still believes there is a significant, but much smaller, chance the jury will disagree. So you end up with what's called a “hung jury.”
It is a term in American law that refers to the failure of the jury to reach a unanimous decision, which may lead to the trial being declared a mistrial and having to be conducted again.

He believes the prosecutor has a stronger case than he previously thought.
Trump fired Comey as FBI director in 2017.
