We’ve found the perfect romantic getaway – it’s only half an hour from Oeiras
At Charm Nature Boutique Hotel in Azóia, you can shower, watch the sunset, and sleep in a charming mobile home.

In the midst of nature, a few minutes from Cabo da Roca, a space has blossomed that has allowed, among the standard hotel suites, to create mobile rooms. It sounds strange, but it seems it was the right choice for brothers and real estate developers, Tiago and Gonzalo Magalhaes. The truth is that since the official opening of Charm Nature in June 2020, many guests have been enchanted by this boutique hotel located in Azóia, and we can understand why.
It has a great air, with comfortable rooms, where you will find a cozy bathtub and an indoor fireplace for the cooler days, not to mention the pool and all the nature around, perfect for enjoying in the hot season. There, the password is “relax”. And that’s exactly what we want when we’re booking a hotel for a long weekend, like our upcoming hotel (April 29th, Friday, to May 1st, Monday).
To get the most out of your vacation and waste as little time as possible traveling, ideally, trips should be short. So Charm Nature is a good choice as it is only 30 minutes away from Oeiras. “Magnificent landscapes, communication with nature and an intrinsic relationship with the surroundings. All in the heart of Cabo da Roca, between the village of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the municipality of Cascais,” says the hotel unit.
Charm Nature Boutique Hotel is not a paranoid venture. It has half a dozen rooms, in a construction that turns out to be environmentally friendly. “There were many walls and materials being decided on from week to week. We started to realize that our inclination was towards natural materials and before we knew it, we were building a place that had a very small ecological footprint. 90 percent of the materials are national,” says Gonzalo Magalhaes.
Cork shines on the facades, and is also part of the brothers-designed thermal insulation that is used in all of the accommodation. They are associated with wood and stone.

The rooms are divided into different types. There are standard options in a classic design with a bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. That’s where the plugins come from. Superior and Superior rooms are equipped with various amenities such as minibar, coffee machine and kettle for 2-4 guests.
Mobile homes, or witch campers, are the big stars of a home. Created and designed by the two brothers, it expands Charm Nature’s offering for those who want a greater connection with nature. They bring the adventure of flamingos, with the possibility of staying overnight in a house with a privileged view of the sea, which uses part of an Airstream trailer structure to offer a unique lodging experience.
“We made the veneer and then applied all of our construction to it. The insulation we use, the cork finish inside, and then the stove, the bathtub, and the private bathroom are all added to it,” Gonzalo confirms. An exterior wood deck has been added to the mobile homes available at Charm Nature.
The pool is also one of the hotel’s former towers. In the winter the water is heated which is perfect for a different experience on a cold day. In summer, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets while taking a dip, as the pool is strategically located, to appreciate the beauty of the skyline of what is “Europe’s westernmost point,” as they point out.

To complete the offer, a bar has been created where breakfast is served, as well as a bar and restaurant where you can have meals, or just order a drink to relax. The stay also includes a concierge service in which visitors say whatever they want. Hot room on arrival? is that possible. A full bathtub and an open bottle of wine? It is also possible. you have to ask.
Charm Nature offers massages, bike tours, guided tours, surfing and yoga classes. The price of accommodation in the high season reaches 335 euros per night.
