GFA Dissolution: Gov’t Must Consider Players – Winful Cobbinah
Accra Hearts of Oak mercurial midfielder, Winful Kwaku Cobbinah, called “Life wire” has pleaded with the government to consider players plying their trade in Ghana as they intend to dissolve the football governing body in the country.
“The government must consider somethings so that we can start playing our league because things are getting out of hand for us. I will plead with the government to solve the issue as early as possible for the benefit of we the players” he said.
The disgruntled midfield gem of the Hearts of Oak expressed worry after Court had granted the motion of the Attorney General Gloria Akuffo to ban GFA officials for ten days in their quest to dissolve the football association.
“It is a worry some situation that we found ourselves in and to be frank it’s not going to help we the footballers because FIFA can ban us when the FA is dissolved. Things has been tough for us though we are playing actively so I will plead with the government to do something about it” he emphasized.
An Accra High Court yesterday granted an application by the Attorney General to enable government dissolve the scandal hit Ghana Football Association.
